I could never have imagined that to unveil this design solution I’d be travelling 20.44 million years back in time, to the Burdigalian Geologic period.

Waikerie Limestone mine is located under what was once a massive 33,000 square kilometre inland sea which retreated over time and become known as, Lake Bungunnia.

Fast forward a mere few million years and its sea life has calcified into the unique, beautiful and harder-than-concrete, Waikerie Limestone. Now entombed and actually visible in this product, are incredibly stunning aquatic fossils.
