BRIEF
Jose, an established and well-known South Australian stone mason, sought a visual identity to represent his business, Waikerie Limestone.
PROCESS
I could never have imagined, that to develop this brand I’d need to travel back in time; 20.44 million years – to the Burdigalian Geologic period.
The Waikerie Limestone mine is located under what was once a massive 33,000 square kilometre inland sea which retreated over time and become known as, Lake Bungunnia.
Fast forward a mere few million years and its sea life has calcified into the unique, beautiful and harder-than-concrete, Waikerie Limestone. Now entombed and actually visible in this product, are incredibly stunning aquatic fossils…
